MEET Five Wheel Drive MUSICIANS
Jen Lepre ~ Lead Vocals ~ Background Vocals & Percussion
Jen is THE heart and soul of Five Wheel Drive. Out front absolutely killing it at every performance with outstanding and distinctive vocal style. Jen started singing as a kid, then joined the band Jack Rabbit Slim in the 90’s. With a combo of covers and originals, they enjoyed huge success playing venues in North Jersey for about five years. Jen then became a member of Midnight Rain in the early 2000’s. As a former Grateful Dead tribute band, they infused those styles into two original albums and classic covers. Most recently, for the past nine years, Jen was a member of the YouChoose band, playing shows and festivals for charities and fundraisers with various themes. Jen brings her unique vocal style and range to Five Wheel Drive.
Rich Parisi ~ Bass ~ Founder and Management
Rich was born to play bass. Rich has played with countless cover and original bands throughout his vast musical career and performed in many infamous NYC venues including Max’s Kansas City, The Gaslight and CBGB’s, opening for acts like The New York Dolls and Twisted Sister.
With his life-long love affair with music and passion for the bass, Rich is passionate about The BASS and lays down a groove with his solid bass lines forming one half of the rhythm section.
John Calcagno ~ Guitars ~ Lead & Background Vocals
John’s musical career spans the decades, drawing inspiration from the guitar greats he pays tribute to…from Steve Vai... Tom Petty to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eddie Van Halen. He plays and sings with a passion to entertain, putting heart and soul into every note he shreds in every song. John has fronted many illustrious bands in the Tri-State area in his vast musical career. From studio to stage John continues to rock the house and invites you to come and party with Five Wheel Drive…a guaranteed good time for all!
Mike Scheovic ~ Keyboards ~ Lead & Background Vocals
Mike has been playing keyboards since the age of nine, and classically trained in all aspects of music theory, keyboards, voice and guitar.
Mike’s musical career high-points include performing with such renowned musicians and bands such as Shore Soundz, Frankie Goes To Englewood, The Eli 5 Band, and 'That Band'.
His repertoire spans present day material, as well as selections spanning back hundreds of years. He has played all over New Jersey in different projects in venues including Caesar's Atlantic City, The Ocean Place Resort, as well as concert tours in several other states.
He currently teaches and molds young music students in music theory, keyboards, voice instruction and guitar.
Mike brings his musical and vocal talents to Five Wheel Drive with an expanded repertoire of vocal range and performance styles.
We are very fortunate and honored to welcome Mike into the FIVE WHEEL DRIVE musical family!!!
Bob Ardis ~ Drums & Percussion
One half of the driving rhythm section and heartbeat of Five Wheel Drive, Bob has over 40 years of experience in diverse musical environments. A versatile and passionate drummer, proficient in all genres and styles, Bob began his drumming and percussion career by playing in High School marching, concert bands and orchestras, providing the workplace to develop his distinctive chops.
Professionally contributing his solid time-keeping rhythm, passion, and power to bands in the New Jersey, New York and PA area, in high energy bands like ‘The Strangers’, 'Radio Wave', 'Blue Tip', and 'Southern Steel'.
Bob brings his high energy rhythm to Five Wheel Drive and delivers that passion and energy to every show.
